I knew Apple Cider Vinegar was good for us… but this good? Definitely have to add some “alive” ACV to my diet!


Apple Cider Vinegar

Hippocrates famously said that Apple Cider Vinegar is the answer to many common ailments, and it has recently been proven to have major health benefits. Since I was a young kid I have known that apple cider vinegar made my tummy better if it was sore. I never knew why, but that weird stuff that Dad had hidden in the pantry was my saviour when I got the bloat!


So why should we add ACV to our diets?

  • It improves insulin sensitivity and can help manage Type-2 Diabetes. A 2004 study found that taking 2 teaspoons in a glass of water before bed lowered glucose levels in the morning by 4-6%. It also lowers the GI when eating carbs.
